Over the last several year, Microsoft has worked with industry thought leaders, customers, and partners, to evolve a framework for quantifying the capabilities of a business' IT Infrastructure, caled the Infrastructure Optimization (IO) model. The IO Model helps IT Decison Makers evaluate the maturity level of their IT Infrastructure, and identify suitable projects to enhance these capabilities to better support the business. This session explains the IO Model, and demonstrates how Microsoft has used the IO Model to dramtically cut down it's infra costs, while providing the business groups with enhanced competitive advantages.
