Sharat Sinha is responsible for the business development, Managed Services and SP Alliances in Asia-Pacific for Cisco’s Service Provider Business. He has been with Cisco for over seven years in Product & Technology Management and Marketing & Sales Management roles prior to his current role.
He started his career in Project Management & Operations in the area of Satellite Communication and Internet Services with VSNL, which is the International Telecommunications Service Provider in India. Following this he worked with Ericsson holding the responsibility for Product Management of TDM Switches, IN Services and Data Networks & IP services, before joining Cisco.
He has a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Masters in Industrial Management from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). He has undergone executive education at Harvard Business School and Stanford University.
