Rajesh Prabhakaran is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Storage Networking Industry Association, South Asia. He has been with SNIA - South Asia since its inception starting as a Director and then serving as its Secretary.

He is also the Director, ILM & Storage Services for HP Services Asia Pacific & Japan. He is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth and capitalizing on business opportunities by planning and implementing new solutions & services capabilities throughout the entire Information Life Cycle, both direct and through channel partners

Working with the Storage Works Division, Rajesh's goal is to increase HP's storage solutions market share through innovative solutions that meet customers' business needs. He is also in charge of developing and strengthening the Storage Services teams within the countries to ensure field service excellence and customer satisfaction. He drives the worldwide storage services programs in Asia Pacific & Japan, while providing regional market requirements and customer feedback.

With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, Rajesh brings significant experience and a successful track record in Asia Pacific & Japan to his current role. His previous positions have been as Business Manager for Storage & Security Services, Business Critical Services and IT Management Services in Compaq Computer Asia Pacific. Prior to that, Rajesh has held service management positions with Compaq Computer India and Wipro Infotech.

Based in Singapore, Rajesh holds a bachelor's degree (with honors) of engineering in electronics and telecom from the National Institute of Technology, India.
