Ir. Raymond Ong joined American Power Conversion in 2003 where he brought with him, his extensive experience and technical expertise in project management and data center turnkey solutions design, having designed and managed the data center projects for MBF IS (now known as Ambank), Citibank, Malaysia National Re-insurance, ASTRO and National Semiconductor.

As the Design Consultant for APC's Data Center Solutions, Ir. Ong plays a key role in providing professional expertise to clients in the design and application of data center turnkey solutions and cooling systems in data centers. In addition, Ir. Ong is also responsible for managing data center projects for APC's customers in the ASEAN region.

Prior to joining APC, Ir. Ong had honed his technical skills and expertise with notable organizations, namely, Emerson Network Power (formerly known as Liebert Malaysia) and Dunham - Bush Malaysia, where he was actively involved in the design and application of packaged units for home and industrial use as well as precision cooling units for sensitive electronic equipment.

Ir. Ong holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Washington, Seattle (USA) and has recently received his Professional Engineer (P.E) qualification in 2005.
