Raj Dalal has over
17 years of experience in IT industry covering professional
services, project management and market development, working
with clients across the Asia/Pacific region.
As Vice President of IDC's Asia/Pacific
Corporate Programs, Raj oversees IDCs conferences
and events, Go-to-Market services and Emerging Technologies
research. IDCs Corporate Programs actively engages
all stakeholders in the market, especially the vendor
and end-user communities, to customize and create solutions
for their marketing challenges and needs. Leveraging
IDCs global content and expert analysts, IDCs
Corporate Programs is dedicated to help vendors achieve
marketing goals and develop winning strategies to build
visibility and brand awareness, generating stronger
sales pipelines, sales enablement and more.
Prior to joining IDC, Raj was principal
of NRD Consultants advising on consulting projects with
major vendors and research organizations across Asia/Pacific
and helping companies examine business benefits of sourcing
strategies. Raj spent 10 years with HP in consulting
and market development roles, specializing in emerging
business solutions such as CRM & BI and B2B e-services.
He was also a pioneer in helping companies implement
Open Systems & Client/Server architecture, specializing
in SAP/R3 and Enterprise Wide Management.
Raj holds a Masters of Commerce (Information
Systems & Marketing) and a Bachelor of Science (Computer
Science) from University of New South Wales, Australia.
