Richard Hanley

Richard Hanley
Transaction Services Global Leader, Information, Communications & Entertainment (ICE) practice

Richard Hanley is the Transaction Services Global Leader for KPMG's Information, Communications & Entertainment (ICE) practice. He is a member of both the firm's Global ICE Steering Group and the global leadership team for the Electronics, Software and Services sector. He is also head of KPMG's Transaction Services Group in the Silicon Valley.

Richard is responsible for providing due diligence and structuring advice on domestic and cross border mergers, acquisitions and disposals. He has led assignments in Asia, Europe and the U.S. and internal due diligence assignments for KPMG. Prior to moving to the Silicon Valley in 1999, Mr. Hanley spent 12 years with KPMG in London and one year in the firm's New York office.

Richard was previously head of KPMG's cross border M&A program. His Transaction Services clients have included many leading technology companies and private equity firms in the Silicon Valley and around the world.
