| IDC's Asia/Pacific Managed
Services Conference 2006 |
| |
| Are you leveraging Managed
Services to gain a business edge? |
| |
|
At the close of 2005, the enterprise managed services
market in Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) continued to
demonstrate positive momentum. Total managed services
market in Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) for 2005 is
estimated at US$15.4 billion and total VAMS at US$5.5
billion (as of February 2006). IDC expects growth rates
of 15.1% for managed services and 15.7% for VAMS for
2006. The largest market in the Asia/Pacific region
in 2006 is expected to be Australia, followed by PRC,
Korea, India and Singapore.
Managed Services is one of the hottest issues facing
enterprises and telecom operators in the region today.
CIOs are looking for guidance as to how managed services
can cut operating cost, improve processes and increase
efficiency within their organization. As enterprises
and telecom operators adopt new, cutting edge applications
and upgrade their networks to stay ahead, this event
will show CIOs how adopting managed services will alleviate
some of the problems that a more complex IT infrastructure
bring about at a lower cost.
