Avinash Pandey Offering Manager, IBM Internet Security Systems, IBM ASEAN
Avinash is a key member of security and privacy services team at IBM in ASEAN region, based out of Singapore office. He has over 10 years of business and IT consulting experience, primarily in the area of Information Security and Risk Management i.e. IT Infrastructure Security, Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery, Identity & Access Management, ERP Security and Regulatory Compliance (e.g. SOX).
His primary role at IBM is to manage security and privacy services offerings in the ASEAN region. He also works closely with IBM customers across the region for development and implementation of their IT Governance and Security initiatives. He has led several Information Security engagements for very large corporate clients (in Asia Pacific and US) from Oil & Gas, Banking & Finance, Telecom, Cargo and Airlines, Software services & BPO; and Dotcom sectors.
Avinash is an electronics engineer and holds a post graduate diploma in Telecom Management. He also holds various industry certifications i.e. CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001:2005 Lead Auditor, ITIL-Foundation and PMP.
Prior to joining IBM, he was working with Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services Group at its India and US offices.
