Sharon Ruckman is Vice President of Product Management, Security Management Products, for Symantec's worldwide security management product business. Ruckman is responsible for the strategic direction, planning and positioning of the Security Management product lines, which products include Enterprise Security Manager and Incident Manager. Previously, she headed the Product Management organization for Symantec Security Response, which ensured that Symantec customers received immediate cures for Internet security breaches. Ruckman joined Symantec in 1995 and has held various product management positions with security products that have won many industry awards. Prior to joining Symantec, Ruckman held product management and engineering positions at networking and telecommunications companies. Ruckman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Business Administration from the University Anderson School of Management.
