Michael Kan Director of SingTel Managed Services, SingTel
Michael Kan is currently holding the position of SingTel's Director of Managed Services. He is responsible for developing strategies as well charting the direction for growth of the Managed Services Portfolio.
As Director (Managed Services), Michael has launched a series of Managed Services products including Managed IP PBX, Managed Security Services, TOPS AA (Traffic Optimisation and Profiling Service Application Accelerator) and Managed Network Solutions. Under his leadership, SingTel now delivers a comprehensive suite of award winning Managed Services, offering one-stop infocomm solutions to corporate customers.
Prior to this position, he has held several key appointments in SingTel, covering Network Technology Development, Network Planning, Solutions Consultancy, etc. With more than 14 years of experience in the field of telecommunications, Michael has witnessed the evolution of the convergence of voice and data products. His wealth of experience with converged services includes driving IP VPN and VOIP solutions domestically and internationally, as well as integrating unified communications and ICT solutions with IP networks.
Michael graduated with Honours in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology. He also completed a postgraduate management course in INSEAD.
