Network environment in business organizations is becoming more complex. Though there are security policies to provide frameworks of practices and standards to compliance as mechanism for checking, if continuous monitoring is not implemented, all efforts for compliance won’t contribute to an actual secured environment.
Some aspects of security are related to processes and individuals in which there is no shortcut for coaching and training. On the other hand, the IT aspects of security, though is complex and complicated, it probably is the only area that automation can be explored to gain efficiency with the help from the economies of scale.
Managing complex network and applications to support business needs is a heavy task. Assuming that the required skill set is available from your internal IT department, ensuring security effectively is not only an extra burden to the over-stretched IT staff, but it can cost an organization millions in terms of both capital investments and additional manpower. In such an instance, the best decision lies in outsourcing the right tasks to highly skilled and reliable Security Solution provider.
In this session, the Speaker will share real case scenarios where organizations that achieved compliance experienced compromise in their network, the problem behind the situation and comments about the possible resolutions for minimizing fi not eliminating similar situations from reoccurring. |
