Cao Tuqiang joined Cisco in 2001 from Andiamo acquisition. Currently senior manager of technical marketing engineering team at Cisco Systems' Data Center Technology Group, an organization responsible for LAN, server fabric, and storage switching products and solutions, based in San Jose headquarter, he is driving SAN solution and design in Fibre Channel Protocol (FCP), Fibre Channel over TCP/IP Protocol (FCIP), Internet Small Computer Systems Interface Protocol (iSCSI), and network based virtualization with Cisco MDS 9000 product line. Also he is responsible for joint solutions with industry's storage, server, and application partners.

Previously, Cao Tuqiang held positions at EMC as consulting design engineer, and Technical Alliance Manager leading a senior storage design engineering team. He was responsible for driving strategic engineering products and joint solutions between EMC, Cisco and Oracle (ECO Structure). He has extensive experience in Oracle database, Unix server platform, Data center multi-tier application design.

With BS degree, graduated from Peking University in China, Tuqiang earned a Master and PhD in Materials Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Iowa State University in United States.
