As the Director of Products for Borland Software APAC, Chin is responsible for the adoption and deployment of Borland's enterprise software solutions in the region. Prior to this role, Chin led a team of solution managers and consultants in BEA and helped companies to define and architect distributed application infrastructure to meet their business requirements. Chin is also a technology evangelist and key spokesman for the region.

Chin has more than fourteen years of experience in IT, eight of those years in IT consulting. With keen understanding of distributed computing, he has architected complex applications using open technologies like Java, CORBA and Web Services, for wireless, internet and intranet services. He has also expounded these ideas extensively at events such as XML One, Computer World Conference, Sun Technology Conference, HP Developer Conference, BEA User Conferences and many more.

Chin holds a B. Eng in Computer Engineering (First Class) from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
