Steven Scheurmann is Altiris' Alliance
Business Development Manager for Asia Pacific
and Japan.
Steven has more than 13 years experience
related to business consulting, sales, and
project management with a focus on ERP software
and IT services. He has in-depth knowledge
and experience in the financial services,
utilities and public sector domains.
Steven started his career with the Australian
Embassy in Jakarta, assisting Australian
interests in a period of intense investment
in Indonesia. Eager to leverage his public
sector experience in direct business development,
Steven then spearheaded the development
of a division of Jardine Pacific Group in
Indonesia and later Mincom, the leading
ERP vendor in the mining sector. During
his period with Mincom, Steven was actively
involved in the revision of software licensing
laws in Indonesia, permitting software vendors
to license directly to end users.
Following his success with Mincom, Steven
worked for an IBM Partner where he developed
the consulting business, achieving 1000%
growth in less than 2 years. In this role,
he led large core banking assessments for
three of the largest banks in Indonesia,
with each project valued at several million
US dollars. Steven has worked with the Lippo
Group, ASABA Group & South Holdings
(Eratex Group) in Indonesia.
More recently, Steven was the lead Engagement
Manager for Hewlett Packard South East Asia
End User Workspace solution offerings, acting
as the key point of contact into HP's enterprise
account space.
In addition to English, Steven speaks fluent
Bahasa Indonesia.
