Tan Yen Yen is Vice President and Managing Director for Hewlett-Packard Singapore. She is responsible for driving overall revenue and profitability for HP in Singapore, and leads the Technology Solutions Group in Singapore.
Yen Yen was previously Director for Software Global Business Unit for HP Southeast Asia and India. She played an instrumental role in establishing and growing HP’s software business in this region during her tenure.
Prior to this, Yen Yen was General Manager for Infrastructure & Systems Sales for HP SEA. Her extensive experience includes regional and country management roles in HP’s Channels and Alliances Business and Sales as well.
Before joining HP in 1993, she worked for the Ministry of Defence Systems & Computer Organisation and a regional software company.
Yen Yen participates actively in Singapore’s infocomm industry, serving as 1st Vice Chairman of the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) Council 2007/2008, as well as Member on the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts’ (MICA) Internet and Media Advisory Committee. She also sits on the Board of Advisors of Singapore Management University’s School of Information Systems as well as non-profit organisation Food from the Heart.
Yen Yen has a degree in Computer Science from National University of Singapore, a postgraduate diploma in Marketing from Singapore Institute of Management, a postgraduate diploma in Marketing Management from Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), and an Executive MBA degree with Helsinki School of Economics Executive Education. Married with four children, she enjoys golf, diving and reading in her leisure. |
