Mr Yuasa is currently the General Manager of International Marketing and Sales, IT Products Division at Panasonic. He currently oversees the global planning, development, branding and sales of the Panasonic Toughbook range.

Mr Yuasa has been with Panasonic since 1983 and has over 22 years of experience in the PC market. He started as a technical engineer focusing on hardware and software development, as well as mechanical engineering. In 1989, he played a key role when Panasonic introduced its first mobile PC.

In 1992, Mr Yuasa moved to the United States and was Senior Manager of Marketing for Panasonic Toughbook. He was influential in establishing Panasonic's presence and today, the company enjoys the No.1 share in the global ruggedised PC market. In 2000, Mr Yuasa returned to Japan and achieved similar sterling results for the Panasonic Toughbook there. IDC ranked Panasonic Toughbook as the No.1 market leader in Japan for mobile PCs in 2005. In the same year, Panasonic Toughbook was also voted No.1 by IDC Japan's customer satisfaction survey for mobile PCs. Mr Yuasa also made significant contributions when he helped set up Panasonic's manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom between the years 1998-2000.

Mr Yuasa holds a Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Precision Engineering from Kyoto University, Japan.
