Paul Blinkhorn joined Palm, Inc. in January 2004 as vice president for Asia Pacific. He has extensive experience with over 25 years in the information technology industry. Paul is responsible for the overall business operations of Palm in Asia Pacific and will oversee its sales, marketing, and business strategy across its product lines in the region.

During his career, Paul has held leadership roles for several leading high tech companies. He served 14 years with Compaq/HP in various management roles. For the last seven years he has been based in Singapore with regional responsibilities, including a term as managing director for Compaq Asean immediately after the integration with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). Prior to Compaq's merger with HP, Paul was vice president of the Access Business Group, which included all business and consumer PCs and portable products, including handheld devices. In his most recent position, Paul was vice president, Hewlett Packard Asia Pacific, responsible for the Industry Standard Server Division. Before relocating to Asia in 1996, Paul was general manager for Compaq New Zealand. Prior to Compaq, Paul held senior-management positions at Olivetti Australia.
