June Chan is Chief Information Officer of Avaya IT International Infrastructure Operations and is based in Singapore. She is an IT industry veteran with over eighteen years experience with elite Silicon Valley technology companies before joining Avaya Asia Pacific in August 2000.

In her present position at Avaya, June assumes the International Operation process strategy, direction and management of all of Avaya's information technology and systems resources in the Asia Pacific. June's duties include maintaining all aspects of the Avaya network services, clients support and IT that ensure a quality experience for Avaya internal customers and Business Partners. In her 3 years with Avaya, she have indeed save more than US $7M in IT infrastructure and network operating cost through Infrastructure restructuring. In addition to her portfolio in managing International IT Operations that includes Asia Pacific, Canada, Caribbean & Latin America and EMEA she is in the interim responsible for the International Applications group.

Before joining Avaya, June was Vice President and Senior Director of Global Information Systems (GIS) at 3Com Asia Pacific Rim. Among her many accomplishments at 3Com was the successful setup of the Singapore Manufacturing Operation Center, establishment of the Network Operations Center the hub for Asia Pacific business operation, implementation of SAP applications, standard enterprise network architecture and processes to support the $6 billion merger of 3Com with US Robotics. June also established Singapore as the Regional Network hub for Asia Pacific with an additional purpose working in alignment with the Sales & Marketing and Product House to showcase the company's products on live environments, thus enabling the sales force to close numerous multi million dollar deals.

Prior to 3Com, June was with Mentor Graphics Corporation for nine years, where she held significant positions simultaneously in Information Systems, Order Fulfillment, Site Services and being a Chief Representative Officer for Greater China operation. Significant achievement in operational cost optimization while increased operation and business performance.

June is of Singaporean nationality and has obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Stanford University, US and also first class honors in her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University in Leicester, UK.
