Paul Henaghan Senior Vice President - Asia, Software AG
Paul Henaghan is the senior vice president for Software AG in Asia, with direct responsibility for all sales and services operations for the company’s two business lines, Enterprise Transaction Systems and webMethods.
Paul is based in Singapore and is responsible for developing relationships and business opportunities with existing clients and driving new business opportunities through offices and partners in Singapore, Honk Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, China, Thailand and India.
Paul joined Software AG in August 2005 and was responsible for the webMethods business in Australia and New Zealand where over a period of two years, Paul and his team achieved significant wins more than doubling revenue.
In August 2007, following the merger with Software AG, Paul was promoted to senior vice president Asia Pacific and Japan for the webMethods business line. And in June 2008, Paul was again promoted to his current position and relocated to Singapore.
Prior to joining webMethods, Paul was the senior director at Oracle Corporation where he was responsible for the government, health and education lines of business in Australia and New Zealand. Previous roles include General Manager and Director at Advantage Group, a publicly listed New Zealand information technology company, and CEO at Walker Datavision, a privately held wireless technology company.
Paul’s 20 years information technology experience includes working in Europe, Southern Africa, South East Asia and Latin America.
