In the recent years, – IDC Enterprise Innovation Awards, honors the top 10 companies that demonstrate excellence and achievement in IT in the APAC region.
The process for choosing IDC Enterprise Innovation Awards honorees is systematic and very competitive. We're looking for companies that are using IT in innovative ways to deliver competitive advantage to the enterprise and enable growth. Applications are solicited from hundreds of companies through advertising, newsletters and e-mail. We also collect recommendations from our in-house experts, who nominate organizations which are distinguished for their innovative use of IT. We invite these nominees to apply as well.
IDC welcomes all CIOs in the year of 2008 to participate in our Enterprise Innovation Awards 2008. The IDC Enterprise Innovation Awards will celebrate APAC’s top organizations that are using information technology in innovative ways to deliver business value, whether by creating competitive advantage, optimizing business processes, enabling growth or improving relationships with customers.
We want to know how you have faced business challenges, and innovative approaches in leveraging emerging technologies and IT processes alongside to rejuvenate, sustain and empower business growth., to pursue new markets, to save money, to make more. Here's your chance to tell your peers about the technology innovations that have enabled or led the way to greater success for your organization.
Judicious usage and wise apportioning of corporate IT budget toward funding innovation projects require careful and often strategic planning effort. Multi-year alignment and follow-through of enterprise projects and approaches to converge and achieve corporate goals and alignment are often challenging. If you have innovated in one or more of the following areas and have achieved commendable results, IDC would like to recognize you and your team effort.
To be included in our region wide award winner hunt, IDC requires your submissions to be sent in to us before 01 August 2008 to be considered for the Enterprise Innovation Awards in Septembers 2008.

Implementation of game-changing business infrastructure and process discipline to align with corporate goals and directions.
Empowering business with innovative/emerging IT technologies.
Substantial project push for the conversion of capital infrastructure expense into operational expenditure.
Innovations in outsourcing models, IT management solutions, corporate governance, Green IT projects etc.
Service-orientation and re-engineering of corporate processes for positive results.
Standardization approaches to enhance corporate agility, cost efficiencies and operational efficiencies.
Web 2.0 related strategies to rejuvenate corporate processes (e.g. marketing, HR, collaboration, changing enterprise applications, ideas creation for business etc.)
Strategic transformations : becoming a world-class business.
Innovative business transparency, process control, and business automation approaches.
Notice to potential award winners
Please note that only selected contributions will be notified. Selected potential winners will have to engage with IDC on a more detailed questionnaire (IDC Dynamic IT benchmark questionnaire) and a short interview.
All Results will be published and publicized extensively through Enterprise Innovation Magazine, CIO Summit event publicity and more.
