New technologies and services come and go every year.
2005 will see some of these emerge with major impacts
in the marketplace, in terms of competitive pressures
on alternative solutions, alteration of users' buying
and consumption behavior or simply building the foundation
for future solutions. Perhaps more importantly, we finally
see the fulfillment of the promise of some of the most

2005, IDC's telecommunication team has pulled together
their Predictions list on the Top 10 Telecommunications
Trends across the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) region
for 2005.
