IDC's Asia/Pacific Document Solutions Breakfast
Briefing
"Content, Data, Information: Making Sense of the Physical and Virtual
Worlds" |
|
July 27, 2006
Sheraton Towers, Singapore

| Synopsis |
| |
|
Information - it comes in all shapes, sizes, forms
and factors. The big problem with information today
is not the lack of it. The challenge is the sheer volume
of it! Many of us in the office are simply flooded by
it. Information sits in its virtual forms in hard drives,
on CDs and in computer memory. Information takes a physical
form on paper piled on our desks and scattered throughout
our offices. Managing, processing and making sense of
information in all its forms can be difficult, but it
must be done if real business value is to be derived
from the information.
Please join Sharon Tan and Edwin Han at this briefing
as they explore the physical and virtual worlds of information.
They will also assess the opportunities and trends of
the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) content management
and document solutions markets.
